Caring for carers Caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease is a life-changing experience. In the early days you may have lots of questions or concerns and wish to understand more about the condition or what to expect. Many carers often put aside their own needs in order to care for the person they love. Everyone is different but it is common for carers to experience a range of emotions from sadness and frustration to hope. Some carers may also have other responsibilities such as a family or job which also require their time and energy. For all of these reasons it is important that carers make the time to care for themselves too.
